ENHYPEN, NCT WISH, NEXZ, and Japanese girl group ATARASHII GAKKO! have been officially announced as performers at ASEA 2025. The second annual Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025 presented by ZOZOTOWN (ASEA 2025) will take place on May 28–29 at K-Arena Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan. The lineup announcement was made on March 24 by the ASEA Organizing Committee. ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki) have cemented their status as a global album powerhouse, selling over 5.45 million albums in 2023 alone. Their second full album ROMANCE : UNTOLD, released in July last year, earned them their first-ever "Triple Million Seller" title in February 2024. It ranked #2 on IFPI's 2024 Global Album Sales Chart and #4 on the Global Album Chart, marking the highest position achieved by a K-pop act. The album also placed #9 and #10 on Japan’s Oricon Year-End Album and Combined Album Rankings, respectively. ENHYPEN is also set to make history by becoming the fastest overseas artist to headline stadium concerts at Ajinomoto Stadium (Tokyo, July) and Yanmar Stadium Nagai (Osaka, August). NCT WISH (Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya), who debuted in February 2023, quickly rose to prominence as Gen Z icons with their refreshing visuals, diverse content, and trendy styling. After a successful debut at Tokyo Dome, the group released three major works last year—WISH, Songbird, and Steady—collectively selling nearly 2 million copies, ranking them as the top-selling debut artist of 2024. Their Japanese debut album WISHFUL dominated the Oricon Daily Album Chart for five consecutive days, and they swept multiple rookie awards at major award shows. NCT WISH will make a comeback on April 14 with their second mini album, poppop. NEXZ (Tomoya, Yu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hyui, and Yuki) is the first new boy group launched by JYP Entertainment in six years since Stray Kids. After their global debut in May 2023, they officially launched in Japan in August. Known for their outstanding performance skills, they’ve earned the nickname “next-gen stage masters.” Their Japanese debut EP Ride the Vibe (Japanese Ver.) / Keep on Moving hit the top of the Oricon Daily Album Chart. Their six-show showcase tour across Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo sold out completely, proving their explosive local popularity. On March 12, they were honored as a Best 5 New Artist at the 39th Japan Gold Disc Awards. Their first Japan solo tour kicks off June 4. ATARASHII GAKKO! consists of four members: Mizyu, Rin, Suzuka, and Kanon. Known as “Leaders of the New School,” the group has stood out since their 2017 debut with high- level vocals, powerful performances, and a unique concept. Their energetic choreography and live stages have earned them a devoted fanbase in Japan and beyond. They made their global debut in 2021 through the 88rising Head In The Clouds music festival. Their hit track OTONA BLUE went viral on TikTok, surpassing 3.3 billion views. With over 15 million social media followers, the group’s influence is undeniable. In 2023, they performed on NHK’s Kōhaku Uta Gassen, and in 2024, they were headliners at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the U.S. Their world tour covered 26 global cities and 7 cities in Japan, drawing a total of 110,000 attendees. ASEA celebrates top artists from across Asia who unite fans around the world through music. The inaugural ceremony in April 2024 drew widespread attention with performances by Stray Kids (who won three awards including Daesang), TXT, DAY6, TREASURE, TAEMIN (SHINee), and Creepy Nuts. This year’s lineup is equally dazzling, featuring aespa, &TEAM, ENHYPEN, HANA, NCT WISH, NEXZ, SKY-HI, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, timelesz, and Xdinary Heroes (listed in alphabetical order). Day 1 will be hosted by Juyeon of THE BOYZ and Rei of IVE. ASEA 2025 is hosted by Korea’s top entertainment news media Newsen (celebrating its 20th anniversary), @style magazine (13th anniversary), and The Star ENM, and organized by the ASEA Organizing Committee and ZOZOTOWN. Tickets go on sale starting March 25. Further details can be found on the official website and ZOZOTOWN’s special event page. The full artist lineup, award categories, and judging criteria will be revealed gradually via the official ASEA site.
