aespa, Xdinary Heroes, &TEAM Confirmed for ‘ASEA 2025’ First Lineup

K-pop powerhouses aespa, Xdinary Heroes, and &TEAM are set to take the stage at ASEA 2025.

The 2nd ASIA STAR ENTERTAINER AWARDS 2025 (ASEA 2025 presented by ZOZOTOWN) will be held on May 28-29 at K-Arena Yokohama, Japan. On March 21, the ASEA organizing committee officially announced that aespa, Xdinary Heroes, and &TEAM will be part of the artist lineup.

aespa, who have dominated 2024 as their year, will take the ASEA 2025 stage. With their signature genre-defining sound, aespa has consistently topped music charts with every release, including "Supernova," "Armageddon," and "Whiplash." Known for their powerful live vocals, striking performances, and distinct "metallic sound," they continue to captivate fans worldwide. The group has cemented its global status with two consecutive sold-out Tokyo Dome concerts and a 28-city world tour across Asia, North and South America, and Europe, all of which were also sold out.

With a comeback on the horizon, JYP Entertainment’s Xdinary Heroes has also joined the ASEA 2025 lineup. The band, formed six years after DAY6, has made waves since their 2021 debut, building experience through concerts, world tours, and major festivals. Notably, they are set to perform at the 2024 Lollapalooza Chicago in July, marking a significant milestone in their career. On March 24, they will release their latest album, "Beautiful Mind," showcasing their continued musical evolution.

Debuting in 2022 as HYBE’s first Japanese group, &TEAM has seen tremendous growth in both Japan and Korea. Last year, they released an album series inspired by the four seasons, solidifying their place in the industry. Their achievements include winning “Best 5 Albums” at the 39th Japan Gold Disc Awards, topping Oricon charts, and earning multiple Double Platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). Their upcoming third single, "Go in Blind," is set for release on April 23, followed by a nine-city Asia tour, where they will connect with fans in person.

ASEA brings together the biggest Asian artists and global music fans for a night of celebration. The 1st ASEA held in April 2024 featured top-tier acts, including Stray Kids (who took home three awards including Daesang), TXT, DAY6, TREASURE, SHINee’s Taemin, and Creepy Nuts, leaving fans thrilled.

This year, ASEA 2025 promises another star-studded lineup, featuring top-class K-pop artists and Asia’s biggest performers who have achieved remarkable success globally in the past year. Hosting the first night on May 28 will be THE BOYZ’s Juyeon and IVE’s Rei, adding to the excitement.

ASEA 2025 is organized by NEWSEN (celebrating its 20th anniversary), @style magazine (13th anniversary), and The Star I&M. The event is hosted by the ASEA organizing committee and ZOZOTOWN.
