"All-Round Entertainer" Jang Keun Suk to Shine at ASEA 2025 as Grand Prize Presenter

Actor Jang Keun Suk will make a special appearance at ASEA 2025 Presented by ZOZOTOWN, the Asia Star Entertainer Awards uniting music, stars, and fans from across the continent.

The ASEA 2025 will be held on May 28–29 at K-Arena Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan. On March 27, the ASEA Organizing Committee officially announced that Jang Keun Suk will appear as a Grand Prize presenter on the first day of the ceremony, May 28.

Known for his exceptional hosting skills and witty charisma—most notably showcased in Produce 101 on Mnet—Jang is expected to bring his signature energy to the ASEA stage.

Celebrating his 33rd debut anniversary this year, Jang Keun Suk has established himself as a trusted and versatile actor across both TV and film. His notable works include Lovers in Prague (SBS), Hwang Jini (KBS), Hong Gil-dong (KBS), Beethoven Virus (MBC), You're Beautiful (SBS), Marry Me, Mary! (KBS), Bel Ami (KBS), The Royal Gambler (SBS), Switch (SBS), as well as films like The Happy Life, Baby and I, You're My Pet, and the Coupang Play drama The Bait.

Widely recognized as a “living legend” and an “all-round entertainer,” Jang earned the nickname Asia Prince through his iconic portrayal of Hwang Tae-kyung in You're Beautiful. In addition to acting, he has showcased impressive vocals by performing OSTs for his dramas and releasing solo albums. In 2011, he drew over 45,000 fans to his solo concert at Tokyo Dome, solidifying his immense ticket power. Just last year, he released his sixth Japanese studio album Day Dream, receiving tremendous love from local fans.

Now in its second edition, ASEA (Asia Star Entertainer Awards) is an international celebration of Asia's top stars, where music brings fans together from all over the world. The inaugural 2023 event featured top-tier artists such as Stray Kids (who took home three awards including the Grand Prize), TXT, DAY6, TREASURE, SHINee’s Taemin, and Creepy Nuts, sparking massive excitement among global fans.

This year’s ASEA 2025 will feature another stellar lineup of K-pop and Asian artists who achieved global impact over the past year, including:
aespa, ATARASHII GAKKO!, &TEAM, BADVILLAIN, ENHYPEN, HANA, NCT WISH, NEXZ, NiziU, n.SSign, SKY-HI, THE BOYZ, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, timelesz, and Xdinary Heroes (listed in alphabetical order).
Hosting the first day will be THE BOYZ’s Juyeon and IVE’s Rei.

ASEA 2025 Presented by ZOZOTOWN is hosted by NEWSEN, Korea’s leading entertainment and sports media celebrating its 20th anniversary, and @style, a style and celebrity magazine marking its 13th anniversary, along with The Star E&M. The event is organized by the ASEA Organizing Committee and ZOZOTOWN.
