'Living Legend' TVXQ!'s MAX CHANGMIN to Appear at 'Asia Star Entertainer Awards'

TVXQ!'s MAX CHANGMIN Heading to Belluna Dome, Japan in May… Joining 'ASEA 2026'
TVXQ!'s MAX CHANGMIN is set to take the stage at 'ASEA 2026'.
The '3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026' (ASIA STAR ENTERTAINER AWARDS, hereafter 'ASEA 2026'), a music festival bringing together top-tier artists representing Asia, will be held on May 16 and 17 at the Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Amidst this, the organizing committee announced on April 27 that MAX CHANGMIN will appear as an MC on the second day and showcase a solo performance.
Having debuted as TVXQ! in 2003, MAX CHANGMIN is an artist who has elevated the status of K-pop in the global music market for over 20 years and is a 'living legend' still writing new history. Last year, alongside U-KNOW, he held the Japan debut 20th-anniversary national live tour, 'TOHOSHINKI 20th Anniversary LIVE TOUR ~ZONE~', drawing a total of 350,000 spectators. Notably, with their finale concert at the Tokyo Dome, they achieved the monumental feat of 33 total Tokyo Dome performances and 92 total national dome performances, breaking their own record for the most Tokyo Dome and national dome performances by a foreign artist.
TVXQ! successfully held the 'TOHOSHINKI 20th Anniversary LIVE IN NISSAN STADIUM ~RED OCEAN~' at the Yokohama Nissan Stadium on April 25 and 26. Through these concerts, they also broke the record for the first and most Nissan Stadium performances by a foreign artist. Prior to this, in recognition of their contribution to the spread of the Korean Wave, they received the Presidential Commendation at the '16th Korea Culture and Arts Awards'.
As a solo artist, MAX CHANGMIN continues his diverse activities across music, broadcasting, and content. His first solo Japan tour, 'CHANGMIN from TOHOSHINKI CONCERT TOUR ~The First Dining~', held last year with a total of 20 shows across 8 cities, was also completely sold out. Through his new single released locally, he once again proved his solid vocal prowess and wide genre versatility.
Launched in 2024, 'ASEA' has established itself as a global awards ceremony that carefully selects and honors artists exercising worldwide influence beyond Asia, showcasing high-quality performances.
