Japanese Group DXTEEN and Dancer KYOKA to Appear at 'Asia Star Entertainer Awards'

DXTEEN and KYOKA Heading to Belluna Dome, Japan in May… Joining 'ASEA 2026' Lineup

The group DXTEEN and dancer KYOKA are set to take the stage at 'ASEA 2026'.

On April 17, the organizing committee announced that DXTEEN and KYOKA will perform on the first day (May 16) of the 3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026 (ASIA STAR ENTERTAINER AWARDS, hereafter 'ASEA 2026'). The music festival, featuring top-tier artists representing Asia, will be held on May 16 and 17 at the Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.

DXTEEN (OHKUBO NARU, TANAKA SHOTARO, TANIGUCHI TAICHI, TERAO KOSHIN, HIRAMOTO KEN, and FUKUDA AYUTA) is a global boy group formed through the survival audition program 'PRODUCE 101 JAPAN'. Since their official debut in May 2023, the team has shown steady growth, staying true to their name which stands for "TEENs who continue to eXtend and eXpand toward their Dreams."

In November 2023, just six months after their debut, DXTEEN won the 'Upcoming Dance & Vocal Group' award at the 'MTV VMAJ 2023 Pre-Show'. Recently, they reached 100 million total digital streams with their 6th single "Ryokataomoi." This past January, they successfully held their first arena concert, '2026 DXTEEN ARENA LIVE ~FULL OUT!~', at the Tokyo Ariake Arena—marking the biggest milestone in the group's career.

KYOKA is a global dancer beloved by fans worldwide for her overwhelming skills and irreplaceable charm. Having started dancing at age eight, KYOKA fluidly masters various genres, including Hip-Hop, Popping, House, Locking, Waacking, and Krump. She has won prestigious global competitions, including 'JUSTE DEBOUT' in 2016 and the 'World Dance Colosseum' (WDC) in 2019 and 2024.

She also holds high recognition in Korea. Following her appearance on Mnet's 'World of Street Woman Fighter' last year, KYOKA made headlines by ranking 2nd in the non-drama performer buzzworthiness rankings released by Good Data Corporation.

Launched in 2024, 'ASEA' has established itself as a premier global awards ceremony, honoring artists with worldwide influence and showcasing high-quality performances. This year, top-class artists who have achieved significant results over the past year will participate to deliver spectacular stages.

On the first day (May 16), hosted by MONSTA X's HYUNGWON and IVE's REI, the lineup includes &TEAM, CANDY TUNE, CUTIE STREET, DXTEEN, ENHYPEN, FRUITS ZIPPER, IDID, KIMURA MISA, KYOKA, SWEET STEADY, and VVUP (listed in alphabetical order). Actors LEE JUNHO and GO YOUNJUNG will also grace the event.

On the second day (May 17), hosted by actress LEE SUNG-KYUNG and a yet-to-be-revealed K-pop top star, the performers include ATEEZ, HEARTS2HEARTS, IKUTA TOUMA, KWON EUNBI, NOWZ, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, WONHO, and xikers. Actor LEE CHAEMIN will also attend.

'ASEA 2026' is hosted by NEWSEN, South Korea's representative entertainment and sports media outlet, and @style, a star & style magazine, and is organized by the ASEA Organizing Committee.

'ASEA 2026' plans to sequentially announce the artist lineup, award categories, and judging criteria through its official website. Ticket reservations began on March 16, and further details can be found on the official Japanese website.
