'Performance Powerhouses' WONHO, KWON EUNBI, and VVUP to Heat Up Beruna Dome in May for 'ASEA 2026'

WONHO, KWON EUNBI, and VVUP Confirmed for Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026

Singer WONHO, KWON EUNBI, and the group VVUP are set to perform at 'ASEA 2026'.

On April 1st, the organizing committee announced that WONHO, KWON EUNBI, and VVUP have joined the lineup for the 3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026 (ASEA 2026). The prestigious music festival, which gathers top-tier artists from across Asia, will take place on May 16 and 17 at the Beruna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.

WONHO, who debuted in 2015, received immense global love following the release of his first full-length album 'SYNDROME' last October. He has also been a dominant force in the live performance scene, successfully wrapping up his second world tour, 'STAY AWAKE', from July last year through the first half of this year. The tour took him across four cities in Latin America, ten cities in Europe, and Saitama, Japan, where he connected deeply with fans. Known for his powerful live vocals and stage presence, expectations are high for his performance on the second day of the awards, May 17.

KWON EUNBI, who rose to fame as the leader of IZ*ONE through Mnet’s 'Produce 48', made a successful solo debut in 2021 with her first mini-album 'OPEN'. Her track 'Underwater' from her third mini-album 'Lethality' became a global sensation through a massive chart reversal. Furthermore, her explosive and stable live performances at the 'WATERBOMB' festival became a hot topic, earning her titles like 'Performance Queen' and 'The Icon of Chart Reversals.' KWON EUNBI is scheduled to take the stage on May 17.

The rookie group VVUP (KIM, PAAN, SUYEON, JIYOON), who debuted in 2024 with 'Doo Doom Chit', has maintained a busy schedule with a string of releases including '4 Life', 'Giddy Boy', 'House Party', and their first mini-album 'VVON'. Notably, their first mini-album topped the iTunes R&B/Soul charts in the home countries of members KIM (Indonesia) and PAAN (Thailand). The group also saw significant success on iTunes K-pop charts in Russia, France, the UK, Hong Kong, and Japan. Representing the rising global tide, VVUP will perform on the first day, May 16.

Launched in 2024, ASEA has established itself as a global awards ceremony that honors artists with worldwide influence and showcases high-quality performances. This year’s event features a star-studded lineup including ATEEZ, &TEAM, ENHYPEN, Hearts2Hearts, IDID, KWON EUNBI, NOWZ, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, VVUP, WONHO, and xikers. The event will be hosted by MONSTA X’s HUNGWON and IVE’s REI on the first day, with actors Lee Jun-ho and Go Youn-jung also in attendance.

ASEA 2026 is hosted by NEWSEN and @style and organized by the ASEA Organizing Committee. Ticket sales began on the 16th, with further details available on the official Japanese website.
